These were the scenes in Berrow this afternoon (Wednesday) when fire crews were called to tackle a small house blaze.
Firefighters from Burnham-On-Sea were called to Brent Road at 3.44pm to reports of a fire in a kitchen at the property.
“Two fire engines from Burnham attended and on arrival confirmed that there was a fire within the kitchen,” spokesman Paul Slaven told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“The fire was successfully extinguished using two sets of breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and a positive pressure fan to ventilate the property.”
The cause of the fire was accidental.
