The 250th anniversary of Lloyds Bank has been marked at Burnham-On-Sea’s branch this week with a celebration attended by a four-legged VIP visitor.
The unusual sight of a black horse – similar to the one featured in the bank’s distinctive logo – greeted customers in College Street.
Benson the horse was invited along, and provided by AK Autos, to be part of the unique event where customers were also able to enjoy refreshments and take part in competitions inside.
“We wanted to do something special here in Burnham for our customers to celebrate this anniversary and also launch our new charity campaign for the year – Children In Need,” explained Bryn Henson, Bank Manager.
“It was a great event and we thank AK Autos for bringing along Benson and everyone who supported the event through the day.”
