A 27 year-old Highbridge woman will face judges charged with perverting the course of justice over the death of Burnham-On-Sea man George Lawson.
Burnham-On-Sea.com reported last month how Debbi Huxtable from Southwell Crescent had been arrested in connection with the investigation into the murder of Mr Lawson, pictured right.
Huxtable appeared before magistrates on Thursday (February 18th) where her case was committed to Taunton Crown Court for a trial on Friday, March 5th.
The body of Mr Lawson, 20, (pictured) was found at a flat in Abingdon Street on Christmas Eve last year.
23 year-old Adam Lapthorne, from Burnham, was charged with the murder of Mr Lawson last December and is due to appear in court on April 12th.
A police officer found the body of Mr Lawson lying on a bed in a flat in Abingdon Street above the Second Stage tattoo shop shortly after 9am on Christmas Eve. A post-mortem found that Mr Lawson had suffered stab wounds.
