Burnham-On-Sea’s 290 Squadron Air Training Corps have launched their new website this week and also appealed for new members.
The website has been produced with the help of staff and cadets and has an updated look with a programme of what you can expect as a member of the squadron.
The group has also kicked off a recruitment appeal, appealing for new members aged 13-18.
The cadets can expect to participate in Duke of Edinburgh awards, sports, academic awards, shooting, gliding, as well as powered flying.
They also have the opportunity to experience military life with week-long camps at RAF stations as well as adventure training camps and weekends.
Anyone interested in joining can either log onto the new website here or visit tothe squadron during our opening times at the cadet centre in Highbridge Road (TA8 1LN) on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 7.30pm and 9.45pm.
