A Scrabble tournament is to be held in Highbridge next month and players are being encouraged to come forward.
The competition, under the auspices of the Association of British Scrabble Players, will be held in the town on Saturday 1st December.
“This will be an open event, however the standard is high,” organiser Rod Winfield told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“Players are likely to have, among other things, a good word knowledge including the 124 2-letter words and most of the 1,200-odd 3-letter words.”
