Flooding caused more disruption in the Burnham-On-Sea area on Sunday (November 25th) following further heavy rain.

Vole Road in the village of Mark has been closed by police, as pictured above, after several days of rainfall left it under up to six inches of water – although cyclist Steve Short still managed to get through on his bike.

The closure means there is limited access to Mark Village Hall and the playing fields, which are also flooded. Northwick Road and Harp Road around the village have also been severely affected by the flooding.

Berrow’s Coast Road was covered by several inches of rain water early on Sunday morning, as pictured below, while Brean’s Warren Road was also flooded and only passable with care.
