Burnham-On-Sea’s Inner Wheel Club has appointed its new President for the coming year.
At the Inner Wheel’s annual handover meeting, which was held this week at Burnham and Berrow Golf Club, Rita Jolliffe took over from Janet Tancock in the role.
Rita, who has been a member of the group for many years, said: “I am delighted to become club President for a second time – the last time was in 2003 – I am looking forward to a busy year of activities ahead.”

The Inner Wheel organsiation is the largest women’s organisation in the world with 100,000 members in 103 countries. It is closely linked with the Rotary Club.
