Lifeboat charity the RNLI has this week been handed a bumper cheque following a series of coffee mornings at a Burnham-On-Sea Methodist Church.
The church’s congregation hold regular Saturday fundraising coffee mornings and, since December 2008, they have given up the third Saturday of each month to Burnham RNLI.
The series of eleven coffee mornings raised a total profit of £1,358.87 and the cheque was presented to RNLI fund-raisers at the latest coffee morning, as pictured here.
RNLI fundraising treasurer Jan Pearce told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were delighted to receive the support of Burnham Methodists, who gave up coffee mornings to help support our lifeboat volunteers.”
