Photographers from across the region gathered at the Burnham Area Youth Centre at the weekend when it temporarily became the home of the Western Counties Photographic Federation, whose members were selecting entries for their 2010 exhibition in April/May.
The WCPF held a similar event last year at the BAY Centre in Cassis Close and liked the venue so much that they returned for the whole weekend.
Catering during the day was carried out by a dedicated group of Burnham Camera Club members, and the club also organised a rota of members to assist the WCPF with the job of sorting all the pictures into groups.
Burnham Camera Club Chair Debbie Young told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “As a group of enthusiasts, it was a pleasure to play a small part in assisting with this event. We are an associate member of the federation, and enjoy the support we receive.”
