Residents in Highbridge could hardly believe their eyes when an air ambulance flew into the town and landed on a footpath on Monday (12th March).
The green Great Western Air Ambulance landed on the path behind Havage Close, Highbridge shortly after mid-day.
Its paramedics assisted ambulance crews in dealing with a nearby medical emergency.
Great Western Air Ambulance Charity spokeswoman Rebecca Miller told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We attended an incident in the Highbridge area, and our crew were on the scene within 4 minutes. The patient was land-assisted to Musgrove Park Hospital.”
