Almost 100 Brent Knoll residents and lifeboat supporters attended the village’s annual Carols on The Green service on Monday evening.
The weather was true to form and rain swept in just before the start, forcing the event’s organisers to move into the nearby village hall.
The event proceeded with music from Harmony Plus brass group, followed by refreshments and a bucket collection for the RNLI. Also in attendance were Burnham-on-Sea RNLI fundraisers and lifeboat volunteers.
Deputy Launch Authority Rod Southwell said: “We greatly appreciate the local support for the RNLI. A great time was had by all attending.”
