Tributes have been placed on Burnham-On-Sea seafront this week in memory of Dylan Cecil, the toddler who tragically died in a fall from the town’s jetty earlier this year.
The floral tributes and displays have been placed on The Esplanade, near the top of the jetty from where four year-old Dylan fell into the sea on August 19th, sparking a huge search by the town’s marine rescue services. His body was washed up four days later.
Flowers, presents and a candle were also laid on Boxing Day by Dylan’s parents, Darren Cecil and Rachel McCollum, as pictured below.
The area at the top of the jetty was the focal point for mourners, with hundreds of bouquets of flowers left there in the days after the tragedy.
