An afternoon of medieval-themed entertainment drew crowds of spectators on Burnham-On-Sea beach on Sunday (July 19th).
The unique mixture of hobby horse jousting and medieval fun was held next to The Pavilion in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The event began with a parade of characters in costumes, led by the king and his knights. A choreographed jousting display and competition took place, watched by the spectators.
The hobby horse jousters charged at each other several times with lances before a winner was declared to cheers from the crowd. Organiser Gaynor Brown said she was pleased with how the third annual event had gone.
