A day of superb Spring weather has given Burnham-On-Sea a boost at the start of the Easter holiday season – just a week after snow and ice covered the area.
Large numbers of people enjoyed Sunday’s sunshine, wandering along the beach and seafront – and they were treated to one of Burnham’s stunning sunsets, as pictured here.
The clocks went forward on Sunday to herald the start of British summertime and, while it didn’t feel summery, with chilly breezes and a peak temperature of 12C, the bright weather was certainly welcome.
A week earlier, there was snow in Burnham-On-Sea, Highbridge, Brean and Berrow which blanketed the area.
This week’s Burnham-On-Sea weather forecast shows further bright weather – and the chance of a further cold snap over the Easter weekend.
