Burnham-On-Sea Police have appealed for the public’s help in finding a resident who has been missing for over six weeks.
David Trebble, 51, went missing from his home in Abingdon Street, Burnham in November and has not been seen since.
A police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We are keen to trace him to ensure that he is well or to offer assistance if needed.”
“Mr Trebble was last seen on November 23rd when he visited a relative in Frome.”
“He is known to frequent the Burnham, Highbridge and Wedmore areas where he has family connections.”
He is described as a white male of slim build with short, light-coloured hair. He is 5ft 8in tall.
Anyone who has information about his whereabouts should call Burnham Police on the non-emergency 101 number or the charity Missing People on 116000.
David’s sister, Denise, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Everyone in the family is upset and worried about him. He has never gone missing like this before and we really want him to get in touch and let us know whether he is OK.”
Posters like the one pictured above have been placed in shop windows around Burnham town centre to help the search.
