One fire appliance attended the car fire in Blackford Road, Mark at 9.56pm.
A spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “On arrival, the crew found the car was burnt severely and smoldering.”
“Crews extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet.”
The vehicle was completely destroyed in the blaze. Police directed traffic around the scene.
