A fire engine came across a van on its side near Dunball shortly after 12.40pm.
Two casualties were treated by paramedics and firefighters made the vehicle safe before helping paramedics by transferring one casualty onto a spinal board for removal to hospital.
Police and an ambulance were also called to the scene and the duty of care was left with police.
