Burnham-On-Sea’s Ritz Acoustic Club will play host to an exciting double-headline concert featuring FolkFest favourite Phil King and renowned London singer songwriter Julia Biel.
Doors will open at 8pm for the concert, which will be held this Thursday (January 17th) at the Ritz Social Club in Victoria Street, Burnham.
“With her melancholic innocence and epic drama, Julia has been described as a cross between PJ Harvey and Nina Simone, Portishead and Billie Holiday with The Guardian noting her ‘magnetic stage presence’ and ‘mesmerising voice’,” Ritz Acoustic Club’s Dom Wills told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“Phil, meanwhile, has built up a large and enthusiastic following in Burnham and will no doubt delight the crowd with his great songs, super voice and wonderful guitar-playing.”
Tickets for the evening cost £4 and will be available on the door.
