Chalice Morris Men set to perform in Marine Cove gardens tonight
Burnham-On-Sea’s Marine Cove Gardens will play host to a special performance by a group of Morris Men today (Thursday, August 13th).
The Chalice Morris Men will be performing a display of their traditional music and dancing in the seafront gardens at 7.45pm.
The group are keen to encourage as many visitors and local residents to watch the show.
Bob Cross, Bagman of the team, said: “Chalice always enjoy their annual visit to the Marine Cove as part of our annual summer programme of dancing. We always get a good an appreciative audience.”
“Chalice have now been dancing for well over 40 years in the Burnham area and want to keep the tradition alive for another 40 at least.”
“To do that we need you – if you’re male and aged 14+ then why not give us a call or come and see us at one of our performances such as this one at Marine Cove.”
