Snow and freezing temperatures have created wintry scenes on beaches in the Burnham-On-Sea area this weekend.
Brean Down is coated in snow and a long line of ice and slush has been washed up along the tide line, stretching along to Burnham.
Forecasters predict further icy temperatures over the next few days with fresh snowfall a possibility on Monday. The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of ice for the whole south west, including Burnham.
