Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Town Band will return to The Princess stage today (Sunday) for their first main concert of 2018, which will have a movies and musicals theme.
To be held at 7.45pm, it will be peformed under the baton of the band’s new conductor, Ellis Holt.
Well-known music, ranging from the Dambusters theme to Ghostbusters, will be performed at the ‘Music from Movies and Musicals’ concert.
“Theatre goers and movie buffs alike will have plenty to tap their feet to with a wide selection of well-known pieces old and new,” says the band’s Joan Locock.
“Come and fly your kite with Mary Poppins, unleash your laser for Star Wars, or dream about those corn-swept plains of Oklahoma.”
“It will be an evening of fun and nostalgia where you can enjoy brass banding at its most entertaining.”
