Fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea and Bridgwater were called to a two vehicle crash on the M5 on Monday afternoon (February 11th).
Crews were called to the northbound carriageway near junction 22 at Burnham shortly after 3.30pm.
“On arrival the crews confirmed this was a collision involving a car and a lorry. The occupants had escaped from the vehicles,” said a fire spokesman.
The crews made both vehicles safe and left the incident in the hands of the police and ambulance.
