Burnham-On-Sea’s Marine Cove gardens are set to host a Teddy Bear’s Picnic for families on Bank Holiday Monday.
The Friends of Marine Cove are organising the free event from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Bank Holiday Monday (May 7th).
Music will be provided by members of King Alfred School Band and there will also be many children’s games and activities. Drinks will be available but people are requested to bring their own food.
“Bring along the whole family, your own picnic and teddy bear and enjoy the relaxing surroundings of Marine Cove Gardens,” says a spokeswoman.
“Take part in a Teddy Bear Hunt, games, fun, music and activities, story-telling and take part in some free family-friendly activities. Children of all ages are welcome but must be supervised by an adult.”
“There will also be a ‘dress your bear competition’ with a prize for the best-dressed guest at the picnic!”
‘Design A Ted’ from Burnham High Street will also be taking part.
