200 VW vehicles headed into Highbridge last Sunday (September 13th) during a new festival celebrating everything Volkswagen.
The new event, called V-Dub’s At The Oak Tree, was held at The Oak Tree Arena in Highbridge – with a parade through Burnham, along the seafront, also held.
“We had lots of interest in this new event, with a good turnout of 200 vehicles, particularly given that the weather was not great,” Duncan Britton, one of the organisers, told Bunham-On-Sea.com.
“We’d like to thank the Hancock family at the Oaktree Arena for hosting the event, and all those who came along. It was a great start and we will be back next year.”
The event raised funds for Burnham’s Hillview Carnival Club.
