Burnham-On-Sea residents photographed the beautiful sight of the crescent moon next to the planet of Venus on Thursday (17th May).
Venus was clearly visible in the evening sky as a glittering ‘evening star’ and it was joined by the thin crescent of the new moon, creeping eastward from the sun to begin a new lunar month.
