Computer stolen during burglary at Highbridge school

A laptop computer worth hundreds of pounds was stolen during a burglary at a Highbridge school in the early hours of today (Monday, June 21st).

Police were called to St John’s School in Burnham Road at 2.31am, where they found an intruder had broken into the premises.

“Officers were called to investigate the school’s alarms sounding and found a burglary had occurred in which a laptop computer had been stolen,” police spokesman Ian Glover confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“Our investigations our continuing and we would ask anyone with information about the incident to get in contact via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
