Bike charity receives £250 boost from Burnham Moose Lodge

-

Burnham-On-Sea’s Moose Lodge has presented a local emergency motorcycle courier service with a donation of £250 this week.

Freewheelers Emergency Voluntary Service provides an out-of-hours emergency courier service to hospitals across the South West.

Freewheelers volunteer Matt Blackburn received the cheque from Burnham Moose Lodge’s Arthur Thorogood and Laurie Lillycrop.

At a recent mass charity giveaway in April, Freewheelers were unable to attend, so the donation of £250 was held over until the group’s latest meeting at Burnham Community Centre.

Matt told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “This cheque is much appreciated – fundraising is a relentless task.”
