Students from Highbridge’s King Alfred School Sixth Form have just received record numbers of A and B grades following the release of their January modular exam results.
35% of Year 13 students achieved either an A or B grade while Year 12 students achieved a still impressive 26% A/B grades.
Among the best results was William Jones, a Year 13 student, who scored full marks in his business studies examination.
“These results reflect the hard work put in by the students themselves who have been closely supported by their teachers and parents,” head teacher Andrew Owen, right, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“These results mean that students from the King Alfred School Sixth Form are able to take up offers at leading UK universities.”
“Following last year’s record A Level results this is clearly an exciting time to be involved in the King Alfred School Sixth Form.”
