Sub-zero temperatures have created these icy scenes on Burnham-On-Sea beach this week.
A bank of ice and slush has been left along the high tide line after being washed up by the sea.
Temperatures fell to -3°C early on Tuesday morning and only reached 4°C in the afternoon as the unseasonal icy conditions continued.
The Met Office has forecasted that milder weather is expected over the next few days.
