PR firm offers paid summer work to Burnham students

-

A local public relations company is offering paid work placements to students from Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge who are looking for work experience this summer.

Porcupine PR, which celebrates its 16th anniversary this year, can offer placements from a few weeks to several months to the right candidates.

Director Andy Doran told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We’re keen to offer students, who may have just completed their A Levels and who are off to university this autumn, or anyone who is on the university summer break, paid work placements so they can gain an insight into the world of PR.”

“We will expect candidates to have an interview and take part in our selection process. Successful placement applicants will be fully immersed in the business and be given opportunities to liaise with clients and write media releases.”

Porcupine PR is also recruiting this summer and is hoping to add four new graduate trainee PR consultants to its team of eight immediately. More details can be found on the firm’s website here.
