Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A370 between Burnham-On-Sea and Weston on Saturday (June 2nd).
A Honda car and a Kawazaki motorbike collided shortly before 5.30pm near Bleadon.
“The motorcyclist, a 39-year-old man, was taken to Southmead hospital by air ambulance with life threatening injuries,” said a Police spokesman.
“The road was closed for several hours while it was examined by specialist crime scene investigators and to allow the vehicles involved to be recovered.”
Anyone who witnessed the incident should call 101 and tell the call handler they are phoning in relation to log 863 of June 2nd.
