Two Burnham-On-Sea fire crews were called to a house in the town on Saturday evening (March 16th) amid reports of a smell of electrical burning.
Crews rushed to St Peter’s Road at 7.18pm to investigate.
The firemen used a thermal imaging camera and hand tools to inspect the property and carry out an assessment of the home’s electrical system.
They found a burnt-out dimmer switch was the cause of the incident.
