Ben Rogers was named as the official cadet for Burnham-On-Sea’s Mayor and Mayoress on Wednesday (July 7th).
The 14 year-old, pictured here, told Burnham-On-Sea.com that being chosen to accompany Mayor Michael Clarke and Mayoress Maria Clarke at civic functions over the coming year is a “great honour”.
The Mayor and Mayoress are pictured handing Ben his official Mayor’s badge during a ceremony held on Wednesday evening at the town’s Army Cadets HQ in Burnham Road.
