A police helicopter joined a search for a ‘vulnerable’ missing person in Burnham-On-Sea on Friday afternoon (March 22nd).
An elderly lady had been reported missing by her concerned family, prompting a search operation by officers.
“There was concern for the lady, who had been missing for over two hours. She was classed as vulnerable and police therefore searched on the ground and from the air for her,” Sgt Ian Kennett of Burnham Police told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“She was eventually found safe and well in the Marine Drive area where she was reunited with her grateful family.”
