A Burnham-On-Sea pensioner who is thought to be the town’s eldest resident has celebrated her 104th birthday.
Katherine Owen, known as Katie, pictured below, marked her 104th birthday with a celebration at Broughton Lodge with friends and residents.
She has been living in her own flat there for about five years after moving from The Midlands to be nearer her family.
Katie was born and lived in Barmouth, Wales, before moving to Burnham-On-Sea 19 years ago.
She used to play the organ for her local church and worked in a drapers shop and previously worked in the kitchen of a nursing home for many years.
Katie effortlessly blew out the candles on her cake this week to celebrate her special day.
