Burnham-On-Sea’s Ritz Social Club welcomed seven comedians for a fun-packed night of laughs to raise money for the town’s BOSfest music festival.
Members of the BOSfest team organised the comedy night which featured Mark Hurman, winner of the title ‘South West Comedian of the Year 2016’, who opened the show with his hilarious sceptical view of the world.
The audience absolutely loved the headline act, Ignacio Lopez, who had everyone in stitches with his Welsh/Italian outlook on life.
Comedy organiser Ade Bowen told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was a really successful night and raised over £500 towards the main BOSfest event on the 1st and 2nd September.”
“Make sure you come to the comedy stage on the Saturday on BOSfest this year a there are two big comedy names on the bill – one of which you may have seen on TV!”
“Big thanks go to local celebrity Curly for doing an excellent job in compering again, plus the staff at the Ritz who always make us feel welcome.”
