A Burnham hairdesser’s friends wanted to give her a night to remember when they gathered to celebrate her upcoming wedding.
More than 30 pals – all dressed as bridesmaids – took to the streets of Burnham at the weekend to celebrate the wedding of local couple Sarah Walters, from Haircraft, and her long-time boyfriend, Steve Kidd.
Saturday’s celebrations started at the Dunstan House in Love Lane and included a surprise visitor.
“Sarah had no idea that her mum, who lives in Spain, was hiding at her sister’s house and surprised her by walking into the pub to join in with the fun,” one of the organisers, Vicky Banwell, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
The evening also included a visit to St Andrew’s Church and there was a trophy for the best dressed bridesmaid plus several runners-up. “The night ended with lots of dancing and lots of fun had by all.”
