The Beachcomber in Brean is hosting its very own mini festival this weekend (June 15th – 17th).
‘Glasto Brean’ features live music, fun and games, children’s activities and food vendors from 12 noon onwards at The Beachcomber in Brean.
Mike Harris from The Beachcomber said: “As Glastonbury Festival isn’t on this year, we thought we’d host our own mini festival at The Beachcomber.”
“There will be live entertainment, trampolines, an inflatable slide and glitter face paint on offer. Our entertainment team will be providing fun and games to get everyone in the festival spirit.”
On Friday 15th June, Rolling Stones tribute band ‘The Stones’ will perform at 9pm.
On Saturday 16th June, there will be a hog roast from 12 noon, as well as The Beachcomber’s full food menu. ‘Stilo Antico’ guitar duo will perform at 2.30pm and Scott Wilkes is singing at 7pm.
Later in the evening on Saturday, adults and over 12s can enjoy a Gary Barlow Tribute and ‘Chasing Mumford’ folk rock band from 8.30pm.
On Sunday 17th June, Sunday carvery is served as well as wood-fired pizzas. There is an Ed Sheeran Tribute at 2.30pm, followed much later by Keith Slater’s All Stars at 8.30pm.
Glasto Brean is open to the public with free entry and free parking. No tickets are needed, please just turn up.
The trampolines, inflatable slide and glitter face paint will be on Saturday and Sunday daytimes. There is a small charge for these activities.
The Beachcomber has a large beer garden, modern cabaret bar, family restaurant and children’s entertainment room. It opens from 12 noon until late daily. The venue regularly hosts live entertainment and is open to the public. Visitors can park for free in The Beachcomber car park.
