There was a dramatic end to the celebrity wedding of model Katie Price near Burnham-On-Sea on Friday night when fire crews were called to the venue.
A fire engine from Burnham-On-Sea rushed to Rookery Manor in Rooksbridge shortly before 10pm when a fireworks display at the wedding went wrong.
“Several fireworks launched at the end of the evening set alight to some bushes at the venue and we were called to tackle the blaze,” a Burnham fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“When we got there, we found the staff had extinguished the fire and prevented it spreading so we checked it over to ensure it was all safe. We certainly attracted lots of attention but did not see Katie during out visit.”
