Bugs theme at Highbridge Childrens Centre’s end-of-term ball

-

Youngsters and staff at Highbridge Children’s Centre have celebrated the end of the summer term by holding a colourful Bug Ball this week.

Children made costumes and hats representing ladybirds, beetles, spiders, lice and many other ‘mini beasts’.

Parents also joined in the fun during a special concert where the children sang songs about caterpillars and ants. Certificates and gifts were also presented by staff.

Manager Julian Plested told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “This was a lovely way to end the term and we all had a lot of fun. The children are so inventive!”

“We are sad to say goodbye to so many children who are moving up to school, but we wish them all the very best and we hope to keep in touch.”
