Crews were called to a car on fire in Highbridge on Thursday afternoon (October 29th).
Two appliances from Burnham-On-Sea fire station were sent to Caxton Road, Highbridge just after 4.30pm after an initial call reporting that smoke was emerging from a commercial building.
“Crews confirmed that this was actually a car on fire within a garage which was already extinguished,” said a spokesman.
“Crews helped by damping down the car with buckets of water and foam. The car was approximately 50% damaged by fire.”
