A parade of local service charities and cadet groups will take place through Burnham-On-Sea town centre today (Saturday, June 30th) to mark Armed Forces Day.
Co-ordinated by members of the local armed forces organisations, several cadet groups will be taking part with the aim of raising awareness of Armed Forces Day.
The various groups will assemble for the parade outside The Princess Theatre in Princess Street at 12.30pm.
The parade will then move through the town centre, along the High Street, arriving at the flag pole at the junction of Pier Street and Old Station Approach between 12.45pm-1pm where a short act of remembrance will take place.
