A fundraising car wash is set to be held in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (August 14th) led by young members of Highbridge’s Dreamscheme.
The group’s event will be held at Burnham-On-Sea Fire Station in Marine Drive from 10am-2pm.
Donations will be accepted throughout the day, with the money collected all going to local charities.
Highbridge’s Dreamscheme was set up by the Children and Young Persons Sub-Committee of the Local Action Team for Highbridge, alongside Highbridge Police.
It involves young people aged 8-16 taking part in community work, such as litter picks, in return for points that can be used towards day trips and other activities. If you are interested in joining, see the official website here
