Hundreds of entries went on display at the 43rd annual Burnham-On-Sea Horticultural Show over the weekend (August 14th and 15th).
The two-day event was held at Sanders Garden World at Brent Knoll and featured over 100 classes.
The entries ranged from photography and pot plants to flowers, wines, vegetables and handicraft items, including hand-made cards, crochet and knitted items.
“We had a good number of entries and were pleased with visitor numbers over the weekend,” David Bryant, a member of Burnham-On-Sea & District Horticultural Society, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
Trophy winners included Myra Cox, Sylivia Hadley, Peter Devonold, Ella Dollery, Josie Dollery, Joan White, Debbie Townsend, Catriona Newman, Peter Besley, Roger Tolley (pictured right), Dora Wallis, Martyn Davis, David Bryant, Bob Boyd, John Inder and Lakin Earl.
A steady flow of visitors attended the event throughout the weekend.
It ended on Sunday evening with Sanders Garden World’s manager Peter Burks and the society’s Beth Whetstone presenting the trophies and awards to the winners, as pictured here.
