Burnham-On-Sea Rotary Club is holding a Rotary Awareness Day today (Saturday, May 4th) for newcomers to find out about the group’s work.
The event will be hosted at Mr Beans Café in the High Street from 9am to 12 noon when members of the public will be able to visit the Rotary display stand to find out what Rotary is, does and what membership involves.
Rotary Organiser Bernard Raines said: “The aim is to raise awareness of Rotary and the activities that we undertake in the community. It would be great if we can interest local men and women in joining the Club or being interested in supporting Rotary.”
Burnham Rotary Club meets on Thursday evenings (7.30pm) at Burnham & Berrow Golf Club, St Christopher’s Way, Burnham on Sea. The Club welcomes new members (male and female).
