Cowboys visited a garden centre in Brent Knoll along with Native Americans and horses over the Bank Holiday Weekend to help raise funds for charity.
A Wild West re-enactment took place at Sanders Garden World and proceeds from the event will be donated to Help for Heroes and the Special Needs Activity Project (SNAP).
Peter Burks, General Manager of Sanders Garden World, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Our re-enactment event was a great success. The Wild West is a greatly romanticised period of American history that captivates the imagination of adults and children alike.”
“Families that visited the event were able to get involved and experience a little of what life was like in Western America during the 19th century.”
“Proceeds from the event will be donated to Help for Heroes and the Special Needs Activity Project (SNAP). At the moment we’re still counting the funds collected.”
The Boots & Saddles Western Re-enactment & Living History Club based in Somerset, which did the re-enactment at the garden centre, aims to raise money for charity while providing people with a glimpse of the Wild West.
