Police have this week said a 20-year-old man has been charged with criminal damage after a number of cars were damaged last month in Highbridge and Burnham-On-Sea.
William Hiett-Powell of Market Street, Highbridge, is to appear before Taunton Deane Magistrates on December 7th.
He has been charged with three counts of criminal damage – damaging tyres of cars parked in the Burnham and Highbridge areas – on October 10th.
Two other men – aged 20 and 24 – were also arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage to motor vehicles.
Both were released after being given a police caution, the 20-year-old ordered to pay £230 compensation.
