Burnham-On-Sea’s summer season of free outdoor music events kicks off today (Sunday, May 12th) with the town’s Party In The Park.
The Manor Gardens will be alive with entertainment and live music from 12pm to 5pm featuring popular local group The Ginger Hitlas plus rising country rock band Kyotie.
With supporting acts including Dizzy B and friends, and guitarist Tim Fardon, the first event of the season promises to be a hit.
As well as a great afternoon of music, there will also be a bar with real ale, local cider, wine and soft drinks, a new burger van, a sweets cart and Brodericks Ices.
The Kidzone will provide hair braiding and face painting, along with a Bouncy Castle.
Organiser Mike Murphy from CADS (the Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society) told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It will be a great afternoon’s entertainment and we look forward to seeing a big crowd again this year.”
Chair Mike Murphy adds that this is the 17th year of CADS community events. Entrance is free.
