A group of cyclists who are pedalling their way from Land’s End to John O’Groats rolled into Burnham-On-Sea on Sunday (September 5th).
The group of 11 cyclists, who all work at the Lindsey Oil Refinery near Grimsby, hope to raise around £5,000 for Cancer Research from their 1,000 mile fundraiser. They set off from Land’s End on Saturday morning (September 4th) and hope to reach the Scottish headland on September 12th.
They briefly stopped at Burnham for a few lungfuls of sea air and a meal at the Bay View Cafe on The Esplanade before heading off along the A38 towards Bristol. The group has a web site here.
