Wet weather failed to halt Burnham-On-Sea’s annual Party In The Park on Sunday (May 12th).
The event went ahead as planned despite on-and-off showers throughout the afternoon.
While audience numbers were down on some previous years, the Manor Gardens were still alive with entertainment.
Organiser Mike Murphy from CADS, the Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We had a decent turnout despite the weather – it was a great afternoon of entertainment.”
The event featured popular local group The Ginger Hitlas plus rising country rock band Kyotie, Dizzy B and friends and guitarist Tim Fardon.
Burnham’s next free outdoor music event will be Jazz In the Park on June 9th.
